Biography
Born in Illinois, raised in four states and New Brunswick, Canada.
Education at two American Liberal Arts colleges, University College, London, and the University of Toronto. Taught Composition and American novel classes for 10 years. Someday, I need to be a high school teacher.
Travelled too much, tried too many things, now I'm just not interested in moving anywhere but here where my knitting, my family, and my garden is.
Benevolent stepmom to two, mother to one.
Adore my tube hi-fi-building husband.
I want food, health, and peace for all.

Gardening, French wine other than Bordeaux, Politics, Boston School painting, handmade clothing, vernacular architecture, black humour.
