Boy, the blog world is easily provoked. That last post proved to be one of my most popular ever, and I didn't even finish anything! The funny and wierd thing that happened was that the Divine Miss Em posted almost exactly the same post on the very same day. Whew.
Last night at KnitClub I told a miserable joke, and the ladies thought that I should share it with you, wool enthusiast that you are. It was organic to the discussion last night, and may seem a bit random in this context, so I don't know what you're going to think of it. I am warning you: it might prove to be a bit less wholesome than the general content of this here blog, so consider yourself warned.
Jack was crying into his beer. A stranger in town was so moved by the spectacle that he asked Jack what was wrong.
"Wrong?" answered Jack. " I'll tell you what's wrong. My neighbor Joe, he paints houses. They call him Joe the House Painter. My brother in law, Lenny: he builds bridges. They call him Lenny the Bridge Builder. All my life, I fix cars. I'm a good mechanic. There isn't a car that I can't fix. So do they call me Jack the Mechanic? No! But I f*ck one sheep . . ."

You still haven't revealed what that little silvery square of knitting is going to be. ;-)

As long as it wasn't "orgasmic" to the discussion ...

NOT a miserable joke. Didn't you notice that we all roared? I shared it with my friend, Patti, today during my massage and we were howling! I almost woke Tick up last night to share it with him...
What is the blue blah thing?

HAHAHA! I will be telling that joke to all my friends - what makes it extra funny around here is we're always saying we live in Western Mass where the men are men and the sheep are scared ;o)
