And just so you Intarsiaphobes out there know that it's okay to have the back look like crap, here's the pre-felted behind you so need to see. Felting is particularly forgiving to intarsia, because ends are erased by the process, so you don't need to be the least bit careful or clever in hiding the tails.
If someone wants to tell me how to post a graph, I'll put my rendering of the Jolly Roger up for anyone who wants it. Right now, I'm limited to a scan of one done by hand, and it doesn't read very well on the blog.
