North Shore Family Resumes Domestic Activities

Wing_tipsOlympic_edgeOlympic_mittens_1True_colour_1Minutes ago,  North of Boston, witnesses report that they heard a loud noise eminating from a residence here in this prominent suburb.  Some say that it sounded like a domestic squabble as a woman was heard to shout "I'm done" and a man responded "Thank god" while others close to the family say that apparently it all has something to do with knitting.  The family inside this house have refused to come to the door because there has been something going on inside according to survellance tapes, that is "blocking" what we can only assume is the entrance to the residence.  There is the smell of a dryer running, which neighbors say is the first such evidence of any domestic activity in days, and they also say that the pile of newspapers that had been covering the side porch has suddenly disappeared.  We can only watch and wait, and hope that everyone inside is okay.  We'll keep our eyes on this situation, and let you know if there are any developments.

Yahoooey! Congrats! :::Cowbells Galore:::

Sixteen mittens and one lovely shawl! In sixteen days! Respect is due. :-)

How are your hands? Not too sore, I hope!

Mittens AND a shawl. Big respect to you! What yarn did you use on the shawl?

Congratulations!

*bong*bong*clang*clang*bong*bong*!!

I bow to your excellence!

Youpiiiiii! Hooray for you! Rock on, dude! And...um...

You're just awesome, is all. :-)

The string of fish mittens was truly memorable.

Nice meeting you today! Your shawl is lovely, and your passel of mittens inspiring. If you are so inclined, could you point your peeps to the Harry Potter personality survey? I've written a post in my blog under that title. Thanks!

wowee!!! You've really gone to town!!! Much adulation to you - your work looks gorgeous - and you've done so much in 16 days!!! I'm in awe.

Reverent cheering to you.

Hahaha, there was a lot of domestic neglect thing going around (for me, it was laundry that suffered the most)... That's a great pile o' mittens, Julia, and the shawl looks lovely. Congratulations.

I love the little regiment of mittens, the serried rows of thumbs. They have the charm of a bag of gummy bears, or other pleasingly rounded colorful happy things in quantity.

As for the shawl...I think that means I have to get out the Indigo Moon Batt. Temptress. The striping totally worked.
