Your description of the elephant is priceless!!

Wanda

That's quite funny, your whole saga with this yarn. I'm glad you were able to get some roving. I've yet to get any of the Vesper yarn, but then I've haven't tried either. It's usually sold out, so I don't even try too hard.

Carole

Score!

Erin

I've been quick enough to catch the shop updates on the sock yarn but am on a (yarn) diet so maybe I should try to snag some of that roving. It looked very pretty in person and is looking great spun up!

Sara

you must mean "salchow" lol - after Ulrich Salchow himself who first jumped the jump (single though, not triple). :D

v. cool yarn and v. cool roving.

Kathy

Pretty. Still, I'd take George Clooney :-)

Danielle

I want a painted elephant from a Hindu wedding during pomegranate season. Waaah! (I'm saying this in my very best Veruca Salt voice from the original Willy Wonka movie...)

naomi

I, too, love your description of those colors.

Lucia

Looks like she still has some roving left. Ah, sweet temptation...

elizabeth

Why oh why did I read your blog today??? I just bought roving AND sock yarn!

Deb

Is that a Reeves bobbin?

Beth S.

Are you making your own Vesper sock yarn? :-) I hope so, because this stuff looks like it would make a very cheerful pair of socks.

And it would seem that the new drive band is still performing beautifully. :-)

 Samantha

ooooh eeevil! I had to buy the roving that claimed to be Zombie Flesh!

Laurie

Painted elephant/hindu wedding/pomegranates...wonderful.

Linda D

Scooooooooooooooooooore!

Manise

HA!HA! Perfect description! I have been on the same end of the Out of Stock sign until recently. Scored a skein of sock yarn AND some fiber. It DOES feel like winning something! Can't wait to see your bobbin full and plied.

Madge

Break out the celebratory betel nut!

Kim

That SO happens to me at the Sundara Yarn website....I completely understand! How nice you were able to score some roving!
