The houndstooth scarf came off the Cricket Loom last week, and The Mister claimed it immediately. Never mind that my tension changed over the seven feet of it, he likes it anyway. It reminds me a bit of the kid art we have tacked up on the fridge. It does look pretty sharp with his khaki spring coat, I must say.
I had to put something on the loom right away, after all, you don't want a naked loom lying about the place. A loom without a warp is little more than firewood. But a loom nicely "dressed" (as I guess it is custom to say) has an obvious purpose. No existential crises allowed around here.

But there's more to it after it comes off the loom. Here's a hint: the yarn is really soft and it felts easily. Some fun, hmm?
