I am a knitter, and a woolcentric one at that. So how am I to explain my current emotional affair with this little book?
I love the Japanese craft books I see on Amazon.co.jp (the recommended feature is so very helpful, and a rabbit hole). This book popped into my consciousness through the Hong Kong based seller MeMe Craftwork on Etsy.
It's full of sweet little projects crocheted with raffia, and it's in Japanese. So it is about as alien to me as sulphur based life forms, but yet another incentive to learn the foreign language of crochet. The Japanese I think I can gloss over, given the universal language of charts. And I love the styling.

I love the hat in the top picture. Wouldn't it be cool for you to make one?

I've always wanted one of those big floppy beach hat, but I could never find one small enough for my head. I never even thought of crocheting my own!
