I delivered to Maine yesterday a little cowl with bear embellishments for my darling nephew. I have been cheating slightly so far by sending on sweaters I knit for my own son when he was this age. It's not like I don't plan to knit for The Nephew so much, it's just that some of the sweaters he's received have been pretty good ones, like this Fiona Ellis sweater I knit for The Boy about seven years ago. It couldn't be more perfect for my sister's son than if I had knit it last week, and my sister loves the cousin hand me down provenance, or so she says.
But just to be safe, I made the cowl-hoodie for The Nephew because I knew he would love to wear it. And he does.

Love the hood and the shadow photo.

Forgot to say yesterday, it reminds me of the dinosaur cowl you made some years ago. Is that on your sidebar somewhere?
